Neurofeedbacks Effectiveness in the Treatment of Dyslexia Disorder

Abstract

Background and Objectives: Dyslexia is a situation in which the progression of reading ability in a child is lower than expected age, education and intelligence. The goal of this is study is to investigate effectiveness of Neurofeedback treatment such as operative conditioning procedure on Dyslexia disorder. Materials and Methods: 2 students (1 male, 1 female) with dyslexia were selected by available sampling from five LD canters and received 20 sessions of Neurofeedback treatment. Nama reading and dyslexia test were used to evaluate student’s improvement. Results: After receiving the neurofeedback treatments the patients improved and this improvement remained stable after two and three month of follow ups. Conclusions: The Neurofeedback treatment is an effective way of treatment in dyslexia disorder.
