Abstract

Congenital Nasal Pyriform Aperture Stenosis (CNPAS) is an unusual cause of airway obstruction in the newborn and infants. CNPAS should be considered in the differential diagnosis of any infant with episodic apnea, cyclical cyanosis, and feeding difficulties. Computerized tomographic (CT) measurements and imaging features enable accurate diagnosis of this abnormality. In this report we demonstrated CT examination findings of CNPAS in a 9 –year-old girl.
